CONDUE (FRA): Arriva dalla Francia la bellissima vittoria di Florian Kajamini che, in maglia azzurra, vince la 5^ frazione del Tour de l’Avenir (Les Karellis – Condoue, 119,3 km) e risale al 4° posto della graduatoria generale, a 1’:10” dal britannico Joseph Blackmore.

Nella volata finale è dunque Kajamini ad imporsi davanti a Verstrynge e Sutton. Per Kajamini un successo di peso, in una corsa di livello internazionale, che ora lo lancia prepotentemente anche nel mondo del professionismo. Il successo è arrivato al termine di una gara combattuta con una fuga di 8 corridori che sono poi riusciti ad andare all’arrivo.

Ecco le sue parole subito dopo la gara:

“Abbiamo attaccato come nazionale. Gli inglesi hanno fatto un bel forcing sul Monginevro e in volata temevo il belga Verstrynge che ha tirato poco. Stavo bene ed ho dato il tutto per tutto. Domani, con arrivo in salita di 18 km, ci giochiamo la vittoria. La sfortuna del post-Giro mi ha forse permesso di arrivare qui fresco”.

KAJAMINI WINS THE 5TH STAGE OF THE TOUR DE L’AVENIR 

CONDUE (FRA): Florian Kajamini, racing in the Italian national team jersey, achieved a stunning victory in the 5th stage of the Tour de l’Avenir (Les Karellis – Condoue, 119.3 km). This victory propels him to 4th place in the overall standings, just 1 minute and 10 seconds behind the British leader, Joseph Blackmore.

In the final sprint, Kajamini triumphed over Emiel Verstrynge and Louis Sutton. This significant win in a prestigious international race marks a major step forward in Kajamini’s career, paving his way towards the professional cycling world. The victory came after a fierce race with a breakaway of eight riders who managed to stay ahead until the finish.

Here’s what Kajamini said right after the race:

“We attacked as a national team. The British put in a strong effort on the Monginevro, and in the sprint, I was wary of the Belgian, Verstrynge, who hadn’t done much work. I was feeling good and gave it my all. Tomorrow, with an 18 km uphill finish, we will be competing for the win. The misfortune I faced after the Giro perhaps allowed me to come here feeling fresh.”
