ALMÈ (BG): La Stagione agonistica 2024 sta per iniziare ed il team MBH Colpack Ballan CSB si prepara al debutto. Lo scorso anno fu trionfale con il doppio successo nella Coppa San Geo, a San Felice del Benaco in provincia di Brescia, ed alla Firenze – Empoli, rispettivamente con Davide Persico e Francesco Della Lunga.
In questa corsa gli atleti convocati sono: Samuel Quaranta, Lorenzo Masciarelli, Leonardo Vesco, Gabriele Casalini, Sergio Meris e Matteo Ambrosini. In ammiraglia Gianluca Valoti e Rossella Dileo.
24 FIRENZE – EMPOLI: Nella stessa giornata si gareggia pure in Toscana sulla distanza di 149 km. In gara ci saranno: Pavel Novak, Mark Valent, Florian Kajamini, Edoardo Cipollini, Diego Bracalente e Leonardo Volpato. DS Antonio Bevilacqua.

“Abbiamo programmato e svolto tutto a puntino, ora vediamo come andranno le cose. Veniamo da una settimana di scarico, utile a ritrovare la brillantezza. Promettere un risultato è sempre difficile, ma di sicuro si è lavorato con scrupolo. In queste gare di apertura si aspettano sempre i velocisti ma, ad esempio, il percorso della San Geo è stato reso più duro. L’altra incognita è legata ad alcuni malanni di stagione, quindi tutti devono essere in salute”.
BAGATIN OK: A proposito di salute dobbiamo segnalare la ripresa di Christian Bagatin che, in seguito alla caduta riportata in Spagna, ha riportato la frattura della clavicola sinistra. Il varesino è stato operato a Brescia, presso la Fondazione Poliambulanza, dal dottor Loris Perticarini. Per quanto riguarda i tempi di recupero, il rientro alle gare è previsto per fine marzo. “Mi sento già bene. Non credo di aver perso troppo lavoro, ma ogni giorno che passa trovo nuove motivazioni per tornare ad allenarmi”.
25 LE ALTRE GARE: Già la domenica 25 si torna a correre con la prova nel circuito di Misano, celebre per il Moto GP. Al via Quaranta, Angelo Monister, Davide Boscaro, Matteo Fiorin, Gabriele Casalini e l’ungherese Orosz Balint. DS Beppe Dileo.
28 PROF E TV: Il debutto con i prof è previsto per il giorno 28 febbraio, a Laigueglia, in Liguria. La gara verrà trasmessa in diretta e distribuita in oltre 190 Paesi per quasi 2 ore. Al via gli uomini da salita: Ambrosini, Bracalente, Kajamini, Masciarelli, Meris e Volpato. DS Valoti – R. Dileo.
28 CROAZIA: Le prime gare di stagione sono completate da Umag Trophy (28 febbraio). La formazione avrà una grande impronta ungherese con ben 3 corridori al via. Guidati dal DS Flavio Miozzo, al via Gabriele Casalini, Samuel Quaranta, Zoltan Lepold, Mark Valent, Orosz Balint.

ALMÈ (BG): The 2024 racing season is about to begin and the MBH Colpack Ballan CSB team is preparing for its debut. In 2023 was triumph, with double success in the San Geo Cup, in San Felice del Benaco in the province of Brescia, and at the Florence – Empoli, respectively with Davide Persico and Francesco Della Lunga.
24 SAN GEO: Yesterday the team conducted a reconnaissance of the roads around Lake Garda in the Brescia area. The race presents itself with a renewed and more challenging route compared to the past with a total length of 157 km (live streaming link).
In this race, the selected athletes are: Samuel Quaranta, Lorenzo Masciarelli, Leonardo Vesco, Gabriele Casalini, Sergio Meris, and Matteo Ambrosini. In the team car, Gianluca Valoti and Rossella Dileo.

EXPECTATIONS: What can we expect from this weekend? Gianluca Valoti, team DS with Beppe Dileo, Davide Martinelli, and Flavio Miozzo, anticipates.
“We are coming from a week of recovery, useful to regain freshness. Promising a result is always difficult, but certainly, we have worked meticulously. In these opening races, sprinters are always expected, but, for example, the San Geo route has been made tougher. The other uncertainty is related to some seasonal illnesses, so everyone must be healthy.”
BAGATIN OK: Speaking of health, we must mention the recovery of Christian Bagatin who, following the fall in Spain, suffered a fracture of the left clavicle. The Varese rider was operated on in Brescia, at the Fondazione Poliambulanza, by Dr. Loris Perticarini. As for the recovery times, the return to racing is scheduled for late March. “I already feel good. I don’t think I’ve lost too much work, but every day that passes I find new motivations to return to training.”
25 OTHER RACES: Already on Sunday, we return to racing with the test on the Misano circuit, famous for the Moto GP. Lineup: Quaranta, Angelo Monister, Davide Boscaro, Matteo Fiorin, Gabriele Casalini, and the Hungarian Orosz Balint. DS Beppe Dileo.
28 PRO AND TV: The debut with the pros is scheduled for February 28th, in Laigueglia, Liguria. The race will be broadcast live and distributed in over 190 countries for almost 2 hours (Rai + Eurosport). 28 CROATIA: The first races of the season are completed by the Umag Trophy. The team will have a strong Hungarian presence with 3 riders at the start. Guided by DS Flavio Miozzo, starting are Gabriele Casalini, Samuel Quaranta, Zoltan Lepold, Mark Valent, Orosz Balint.
