AD APRILE TANTE GARE DI PRESTIGIO IN CERCA DEL PRIMO SUCCESSO

ALMÉ (BG): Dopo le brillanti prestazioni del weekend, il team MBH Colpack Ballan CSB si prepara per una serie di gare che si presentano con una cadenza piuttosto serrata. Subito da registrare il rientro alle corse di Christian Bagattin,possente passista varesino che ha saltato tutto il primo mese di gare per via di una frattura alla clavicola. È il corridore di Orino che racconta le emozioni del suo ritorno. “Sono impaziente di rientrare in gara, è stato un periodo duro in cui ho lavorato con convinzione per tornare in grande forma. Il momento peggiore è stato quando sono dovuto rimanere fermo dopo l’operazione. Ora il peggio è alle spalle. Voglio dare il mio contributo alla causa della squadra e successivamente cercare delle soddisfazioni personali”.

IL TEAM: La situazione di squadra è riassunta dal team manager Antonio Bevilacqua: “Arriviamo bene a questo mese di aprile. Lo scorso weekend ha dato le risposte che volevamo. Il gruppo è pronto, a parte gli incidenti, gli atleti presenti stanno pedalando bene”.

6 APRILE, BUSSETO: Il programma agonistico parte da una classica internazionale chiamata la Direttissima per la sua velocità. Una prova che negli ultimi anni ha visto la formazione orobica vincere diverse volte con Gidas Umbri (2021) e Davide Persico (2022 e 2023). L’ambizione è quella di rompere il ghiaccio per il 2024 con un bel poker. Al via, diretti da Antonio Bevilacqua e Giuseppe Dileo ci saranno: Samuel Quaranta, Christian Bagattin, Leonardo Vesco, Leonardo Volpato, Gabriele Casalini, Edoardo Cipollini.

7 APRILE: Il giorno seguente un doppio impegno con le gare di Reda di Faenza, in Emilia, e il Trofeo Piva, gara internazionale che si tiene in Veneto. Reda di Faenza è la gara che ha registrato sin qui l’unico successo tra gli Under 23 di Lorenzo Nespoli, che non potrà difendere il titolo per la lussazione alla spalla riportata sabato. In Emilia il team è diretto da Antonio Bevilacqua e Beppe Dileo. In gara gli stessi di Busseto: Samuel Quaranta, Christian Bagattin, Leonardo Vesco, Leonardo Volpato, Gabriele Casalini, Edoardo Cipollini. All’internazionale Piva, prova molto dura dal punto di vista altimetrico, guidati dalla coppia Flavio Miozzo – Gianluca Valoti, ci sono: Pavel Novak, Mark Valent, Florian Kajamini, Lorenzo Masciarelli e Matteo Ambrosini.

9-12 GARA A TAPPE IN ABRUZZO: Un giorno di stop e poi ci si sposta in Abruzzo, dal 9 al 12 per 4 tappe a confronto con i professionisti. Si parte con la Vasto – Pescara di 161 km. Seguono: Alanno – Magliano de’ Marsi, Pratola Peligna – Prati di Tivo, Montorio al Vomano – L’Aquila. BROADCASTING: La prova va in Diretta tv su RaiSport HD e Eurosport dalle 13.50 alle 15.50. In ammiraglia Antonio Bevilacqua e Gianluca Valoti. In gara 7 atleti: Cipollini, Quaranta, Novak, Kajamini, Bracalente, Masciarelli e Valent.

13 LIEGI: Il giorno seguente un’altra parte del team, guidata da Beppe Dileo e Davide Martinelli gareggia in Belgio, alla Liegi Batonne Liegi U23. Capitanati da Matteo Ambrosini ci saranno Bagattin, Vesco, Volpato e Casalini.

14 SAN VENDEMIANO: Ancora da definire il roster al via di San Vendemiano, in Veneto.

JUNIOR: Nel frattempo è terminato il training camp degli Junior che si sono ritrovati per 5 giorni nei pressi di Pecs dove hanno potuto effettuare un blocco di lavoro utile per i prossimi impegni. Nel weekend si corre in Slovacchia.

Immediately worth noting is the return to racing of Christian Bagattin, a powerful Varese passer who missed the entire first month of races due to a collarbone fracture. It is the runner from Orino who recounts the emotions of his return. “I’m eager to get back into racing, it’s been a tough period where I worked with conviction to return in great shape. The worst moment was when I had to stay still after the operation. Now the worst is behind me. I want to contribute to the team’s cause and then seek personal satisfactions.”
